The detection and illumination combined radar seeker utilized the illumination waveform from ground-based radar to detect and track the target of interest.Time and frequency synchronization is the key for detection and illumination combined radar seeker to measure the range and velocity accurately of the target.In this thesis,the signal processing algorithm and software implementation on FPGA are designed to solve the problem of target detection and tracking for detection and illumination combined radar seeker.Firstly,the coordinate relationship between radar seeker,target and ground-based illumination radar is modeled,and the expressions of target echo and direct wave received by radar seeker are modeled.In order to solve the synchronization problem,a method of time synchronization and frequency synchronization between the direct wave and the target echo is proposed,and the corresponding range and velocity measure algorithm is designed.The time synchronization and frequency synchronization algorithms are simulated and analyzed respectively.And simulation results are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.Secondly,based on FPGA + DSP signal processing platform,the software of the proposed algorithm is implemented.According to the procedure of the algorithm,software execution timing is designed and the tasks of DBF processor and signal processor are assigned.The digital down conversion of wide-band and narrowband echo signal,beam forming and beam framing transmission are implemented on DBF processor.Based on MGT interface,the high speed data transmission between DBF processor and signal processor is implemented after beam forming.The signal preprocessing on signal processor and high speed data transmission between FPGA and DSP based on SRIO interface are implemented.The reliability of FPGA software is improved by design optimization.Finally,each module of FPGA software is debugged and verified on the hardware platform,and the correctness of the signal processing algorithm and software program is verified.
