Research On XF Airlines' Fleet Strategic Planning

With the sustainable and rapid development and the transformation and upgrading of macro economy,civil aviation cargo industry,as a major strategic industry,has played more and more outstanding role in national economy.China has developed the strategic target of making China strong in civil aviation,of which the development of regional aviation and domestic manufactured civil airplane is important part.XF airlines has developed its mission that develop regional aviation and promote the manufacture industry of domestic civil airplane when it was initially set up,and introduced and operated Xinzhou-60 airplanes for domestic regional routes afterwards.However,so far,XF airlines isn't yet profitable due to the influence of various factors.As a result,how to build a sustainable development of strategic plan for fleet is the most priority among its mission.This paper analyzes the current fleet strategy comprehensively of XF airlines to find out the issues as well as the root causes of such issues,based on the domestic and overseas research of strategic management,by combining with current practical experience of strategic management and analyzing historic operating data of XF airlines and industrial related data.Then,according to the analysis for issues,establishing the guiding line of differentiation development of fleet strategic plan,analyzing the macro environment faced by fleet strategic plan by PEST model,and analyzing internal and external environment faced by fleet strategic plan by SWOT model.Furthermore,focus on analyzing the implementation plan and process of fleet strategic plan in order to identifying the key areas of implementation.In addition,developing supporting measures for the implementation of fleet strategic plan from the aspects of human resources,infrastructure and financial strategies.The research for fleet strategic plan of XF airlines contributes to constructing of reasonable and efficient aviation route network,maximizing the performance of all types of airplanes,and realizing its mission while keeping sustainable development.The research and design for fleet strategic plan of XF airlines not only can improve itself operation performance,but also provide guidance for the successful operation of the same type of domestic manufactured airplanes,which will benefit the steadily expansion of operation size of domestic manufactured airplanes fleet,as well as have certain reference significance towards other airlines who also operate regional aviation routes.
