Geotechnical engineering construction is a branch of construction enterprises,which is characterized by small and fragmented projects;According to industry characteristics,geotechnical company A adopted division model management.In order to meet the requirements of company's strategic objectives,and implement effective incentives and constraints,it is necessary to investigate the division' s performance appraisal scheme in a geotechnical engineering construction enterprise.Under division model management,the company carries out strategic positioning and overall decision-making on the division,and delegates some authorities to the division;while division,as the company's profit center,conducts decentralized operation.Therefore,it is an urgent need to consider the issue to conduct a performance appraisal on the division which is fair,simple,efficient,and give prominence to the key points.This paper systematically expounded the theory of performance appraisal,the aspects of performance management,performance appraisal,performance evaluation methods,the contents of performance appraisal.We also design the scheme of performance appraisal according to the management target and status of performance appraisal of company A.in this paper,we extracted systematical appraisal indexes through decomposition of the company's strategic objectives and analysis of the status of the company's performance assessment.We constructed hierarchical model of assessment indicators based on AHP,we also calculate the weights of each indicator in the assessment system through the use of AHP.We identified three subjects of performance appraisal through the analysis of the subjects of performance appraisal,and conducted the calculation of assessment weights.We strengthen the objectivity and impartiality of performance appraisal.Based on these analysis and calculations,and the actual situation of the company,we proposed reconstruction program in management system of performance appraisal in company A,which has some theoretical and practical significance on the improvement of performance assessment and the promotion of the management level using scientific methods in the geotechnical engineering construction company.
