Transmission efficiency is one of the most important performances of ball screw pairs.In this paper,the test and measurement methods of transmission efficiency of ball screw pairs are studied in close connection with the urgent need of NC machine tools for ball screw pairs with high transmission efficiency.A transmission efficiency testing device(including mechanical system and measurement and control system)is developed to study the influence law of different influence factors on transmission efficiency,and to propose improvement measures for transmission efficiency.In order to provide theoretical basis for measuring the transmission efficiency of ball screw pair,test equipment and provide relevant technical support for improving the transmission efficiency of ball screw pair.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:Starting with the definition of transmission efficiency of ball screw pair,the transmission efficiency is transformed into the mapping relationship between measurable values such as torque and driving force.Considering the influence of factors such as screw speed,external load and surface accuracy on transmission efficiency,the functional requirements of transmission efficiency testing device are obtained,and the feasible scheme of transmission efficiency testing device is put forward.The transmission efficiency test scheme is selected and the method of transmission efficiency test is evaluated at last.The detailed mechanical structure design of the measuring device for transmission efficiency of ball screw pair has been completed.Considering the requirements of universality and convenience of the measuring device,the design of driving device,loading device,measuring device and safety device of the testing platform has been carried out.The designed testing equipment can not only meet the requirements of fast and accurate measurement of transmission efficiency,but also be used for measurement transmission efficiency under different working conditions.The development of the measuring and controlling system for the transmission efficiency test device of ball screw pair has been completed.The measuring software has been compiled on the platform of VB.The working condition fitting,dynamic testing,data storage and processing of the test bench have been completed,and the operation of the report form output on the test bench has been completed.On the basis of theoretical research and test equipment development,according to the function of the test bed,the purpose and task of the test are defined,including test content,including test conditions,test process,test data processing and analysis.Finally,the influence of various factors on the transmission efficiency of the screw pair is analyzed.The method of transmission efficiency analysis and evaluation is given.The influence of different factors on the transmission efficiency of ball screw pair is studied.The results show that the rotational speed and external load have some influence on the transmission efficiency of ball screw pair,but the surface accuracy has little influence.On this basis,it is proposed that the transmission efficiency of ball screw pair can be effectively improved by properly increasing the speed and loading.
