Investigation Of New China's Silk Design Archives And Contemporary Value Research (1949-1976)

In the development and practice of silk industry and silk design in new China,rich content,diverse forms and extremely valuable silk design archives have gradually formed.These archives not only record the thread and glorious history of the development of silk industry and silk culture,but also serve as a precious cultural gene bank for contemporary innovative silk design.In addition,it is of irreplaceable significance to the study of the history of silk design,the history of silk varieties and the history of silk technology.Throughout the current research results,there is a lack of research results on the sorting and investigation of silk samples and archives in New China.The protection and inheritance of silk samples and archives in this period,as well as the application of systematization and datamation,have also become a subject that needs to be paid close attention to in this field.In view of this,this paper starts with the classification and integration of silk samples from new China,and combines relevant research results and literature materials to systematically discuss and study the formation,development,history and database construction of silk design archives in the early stage of new China.This study is divided into four chapters.Firstly,the paper briefly summarizes the social,economic and cultural background of silk design in New China.secondly,it summarizes the technical characteristics of silk design in new China,the continuous innovation of new varieties and colors,and the market characteristics,confirming the value of silk development in new China and the advantages of current research and practice.Thirdly,it analyzes the design concept,design group and archives of new China’s silk,and puts forward the importance of the investigation and arrangement of new China’s silk design archives.Finally,through the sorting and classification of silk archives,this paper discusses the value of new China silk archives to contemporary design,the necessity and application of database construction,and carries out experimental innovative design attempt on the basis of database.
