The Fusion And Innovation Of Wenxi Huamo's Artistic Elements And Illustrations

Wenxi huamo is the characteristic Fuwa art in Wenxi county,Yuncheng city,Shanxi Province,and is also the China's outstanding intangible cultural heritage.Local huamo artisans use their own hands,with their own wisdom and creative ability,knead a delicate beautiful huamo.These huamo have different shapes,rich and bright colors,with distinctive artistic elements and aesthetic characteristics.There is an old saying in the region:"Something's got to be something".Wenxi huamo plays a different role in different seasons.Wenxi huamo,as the folk art in this area,its cultural connotation and artistic form represent the aesthetic view,life view and values of the people in this area.With the development of society,Wenxi huamo is gradually out of people's vision for a variety of reasons.Therefore,the author decides to combine illustration with huamo according to his own discipline and research direction,inheriting and spreading Wenxi huamo in a way different from the past,so as to appropriately enhance the popularity of Wenxi huamo.This is also the purpose of this studyThrough field research,reading relevant literature and interviewing and inquiring about huamo craftsmen,the author conducted a systematic study on Wenxi huamo.First of all,the paper has sorted out and summarized the basic concepts,historical origins and functions of Wenxi huamo,and thought deeply about the profound humanistic connotation behind Wenxi huamo.Secondly,the artistic elements of Wenxi huamo were systematically analyzed.The color elements and modeling elements of huamo were studied respectively.It was found that the color of Wenxi huamo follows the "five colors view" in traditional painting.Most colors with high brightness,purity and saturation were combined with each other visually,to forming colour so full-bodied with cold and warm contrast bright characteristic.In terms of modeling,three main characteristics of modeling elements were summarized according to the external characteristics,production mode and internal meaning of Wenxi huamo:symbolization,exaggeration,and stylization.Thirdly,wen xi huamo's current living situation,professional knowledge and skills were combined to extract the modeling elements and color elements in the artistic elements of Wenxi huamo to different degrees.Finally,the most common themes in huamo,such as sacrifice,marriage and full moon,were selected,and the extracted shapes and color elements were finally integrated into the actual illustration creation.
