Scheelite, calcite and fluorite are three kinds of calcium-bearing minerals, which are difficult to separate because of their similar surface properties. Therefore, the separation of scheelite, calcite and fluorite is a difficult problem facing the current beneficiation interface.Previous studies have found that single mineral flotation test can achieve better selective separation of three minerals, but the mixed mineral flotation test has not achieved better results, and can not achieve effective separation of scheelite, calcite and fluorite. Therefore,it is concluded that the unavoidable ions in Scheelite Flotation System will affect the flotation process of scheelite, thus affecting the effective separation of Scheelite from calcite and fluorite.Taking scheelite as the main research object, sodium oleate as collector, sodium silicate and sodium polyacrylate as inhibitors, this paper studies the influence of inevitable ions Ca2+,WO42-,F-and CO32-on Scheelite Flotation in Scheelite Flotation system, and regulates the effect of inevitable ions on Scheelite Flotation by adding auxiliary collectors and activating ions. The main research contents and results are as follows:Sodium oleate as collector has better collecting performance for scheelite, calcite and fluorite single minerals.Water glass and sodium polyacrylate as inhibitors have selective inhibitory effect on fluorite and calcite, but the separation of mixed ores is basically ineffective. The presence of calcite and fluorite has a greater impact on Scheelite flotation.Fluorite or calcite clarification solution has a greater impact on Scheelite flotation. The recovery rate of flotation is lower than that of pure water. It is unavoidable that the addition of Ca2+,WO42-,F-and CO32-ions has certain influence on the formation of scheelite, and the overall recovery rate is still slightly lower than that of scheelite in pure water. Therefore, the addition of Ca2+,WO42-,F-and CO32-ions has a certain inhibition effect on the flotation of scheelite. The addition of manganese ion and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate weakens the influence of inevitable ions on Scheelite Flotation to a certain extent. The addition of manganese ion increases the flotation recovery of scheelite by about 10%.The addition of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate increases the flotation recovery of scheelite by about 15%.Solution chemical analysis of scheelite, calcite and fluorite was carried out.At pH=9,the main ions in the solution were Ca2+,WO42-,F-and CO32-.Inevitably,ions deposited on the surface of minerals and reacted, and the surface of scheelite was transformed into calcium carbonate and calcium fluoride, which changed the surface properties of scheelite and affected the flotation of scheelite. It is inevitable that F-ions in ions have little influence on the potential of scheelite surface, and their adsorption is weak;WO42-and CO32-have strong characteristic adsorption on the surface of scheelite, which reduces the amount of sodium oleate adsorbed on the surface of scheelite to a certain extent. The presence of Ca2+increases the Zeta potential of scheelite to a great extent, which affects the adsorption of sodium oleate on the surface of scheelite and reduces the flotation recovery of scheelite.Through the analysis of infrared spectra after the interaction between scheelite and reagent,it is known that after adding reagent, the peak strength and the number of peaks of surface components of scheelite have changed obviously, and new characteristic peaks have appeared.Aromatic C=C stretching peak and CH3asymmetric angular vibration absorption peak appear on the surface of scheelite, and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate is added. The symmetrical stretching peak of alkene CH2 appeared after the addition of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate or manganese ion, which indicated that chemical adsorption took place between scheelite and reagent. After the addition of manganese ion,no new absorption peak appeared, but its strength increased, indicating that the addition of manganese ion had an impact on the surface of scheelite.XPS test results show that the binding energy of Ca2+on Scheelite surface has a significant migration, and the content of Ca2+has a significant decrease. It shows that Ca2+substitution or dissolution of Ca2+occurs on the surface of scheelite when ions and reagents are added, which affects the surface properties of scheelite and the flotation of scheelite.
