| The quality of China’s hematite resources is not high,and it is faced with the imbalance of supply and demand.At present,it is urgent to find a low-cost,highefficiency,and minimally polluting beneficiation process to cope with the future efficient use of low-grade hematite resources.In this paper,the experimental study on hematite is carried out by using the FHC100 test cyclone continuous centrifugal separator developed on the principle of cyclone centrifugal separation.In this thesis,the combination of theoretical analysis and experimental research is used to analyze the kinematics of the ore in the cyclone centrifugal beneficiation process,the cyclone centrifugal grading test,the cyclone centrifugal beneficiation research,and the numerical simulation analysis of the flow field during the beneficiation process.The results of kinematics analysis of ore particles in cyclone centrifugal beneficiation show that the final velocity of interference settlement is mainly related to fluid characteristics and particle size and density.The ore particles are mainly affected by centrifugal force,gravity,interparticle force and fluid resistance in the sorting chamber.Controlling the ore pressure and backflush pressure is the key factor determining the separation performance of the equipment.The results of cyclone centrifugal separation test show that the suitable operation conditions are as follows: the insertion depth of overflow pipe is 9 cm,the feed concentration is 10%,the feed pressure is 120 kPa,the underflow pressure is 70 kPa,the overflow pressure is 50 kPa,the 40-hole separation cone,the concentrate grade is 64.42%,and the concentrate recovery is 78.02%.The order of importance of operation factors on separation effect is feed grade > feed pressure > number of fluidized holes > feed concentration > overflow pressure > underflow pressure.The numerical simulation analysis of the internal flow field of the equipment sorting chamber shows that the tangential velocity affects the size of the centrifugal force field,the axial velocity affects the sedimentation of the ore particles,and the radial velocity affects the light minerals discharged from the fluidized holes;the backwash water pressure,The ore pressure and the depth of the overflow pipe are the main factors affecting the velocity field in the sorting chamber.The depth of the overflow pipe is the main factor affecting the pressure field.The experimental study and numerical simulation analysis of the classification and separation of hematite provide a more comprehensive research basis for the cyclone continuous centrifugal separation of hematite,and provide a certain reference for its application in the classification or separation of similar heavy minerals. |
