| Reactive dye inks are widely used in inkjet printing of natural fiber fabrics such as cotton and hemp because of their bright colors, wash ability and good rubbing fastness.Diols are an important part of reactive dye inks.Diols with different molecular structures have different effects on the quality of inks.Choosing a suitable glycol is especially important for improving the performance of reactive dye inks.In this paper,1,2-propanediol,1,3-propanediol,2,3-butanediol,1,3-butanediol and 1,4-butanediol are selected as isomeric binary. The K/S value of the cotton fabric dyed by the alcohol dyeing solution and the dye fixing rate were studied. The effect of the isomeric glycol on the coloring performance of the reactive dye was studied. The effects of isomeric glycols on the viscosity, dynamic surface tension, electrical conductivity and moisture retention of reactive dye solutions were investigated by adding isomeric glycols to reactive dye solutions. The effects of isomeric glycols on reactive dye aggregation and solution stability were investigated by UV/Vis absorption spectroscopy and Turbiscan Lab stability analyzer. The jetting performance of the mixed solution of isomeric diol and reactive dye at high frequency was studied by using the ink drop observer. The effects of viscosity and surface tension on the droplet velocity and droplet morphology were analyzed and analyzed based on the Z value.Morphological characteristics of droplets under different fluid properties. The results show that under alkaline conditions, the more primary hydroxyl groups contained in the isomeric glycol, the greater the reactivity with the reactive dyes, and the poorer the color rendering properties of the reactive dyes on the fabric. When the amount of glycol is the same, the more secondary hydroxyl groups contained in the isomeric glycol, the higher the viscosity of the mixed solution, the lower the dynamic surface tension and electrical conductivity, and the moisture retention of the solution may be compared with the gas-liquid interface. The arrangement of the molecular structure of the alcohol is related to the arrangement of the diol molecules at the gasliquid interface, that is,the smaller the surface tension, the better the moisture retention of the solution. The five isomeric diols have a deagglomeration effect on the reactive dyes. The more secondary hydroxyl groups contained in the isomeric diol molecules, the stronger the deagglomeration ability of the dyes;at 25 ° C,with the extension of the standing time,The dye aggregates in the solution decreased, and at 4 ° C,the dye aggregates in the solution increased with the extension of the standing time.Under high-frequency injection conditions,a higher surface tension can cause a larger tail velocity when the droplets are ejected. The higher the viscosity, the larger the head velocity of the droplets. The surface tension is the satellite droplets generated after the droplets are ejected. The driving force, combined with the Z value of solution viscosity, surface tension and density,is an index of fluid properties. When 12.5 ?Z?18 and Z?5.5,a good droplet morphology can be obtained. |
