O'Connor Ecological Marxist Theory Research

Many different schools of thought have emerged in the development of marxism.O 'connor is one of the important representatives of ecological marxism.He expressed the development of marxist thought in the field of ecology in his book the reason of nature--a study of marxism in ecology.This school of thought redefines the relationship between history and culture.By rearranging the relationship between the economy and the nature and comparing and analyzing the development mode of capitalism and the causes of the ecological crisis,the author criticizes the existing capitalism while looking for solutions.In the interpretation of Marx's text,the development direction of historical materialism is reconstructed to construct the thought of socialist ecological development in the newera.This article take the brief analysis of the literature research,dialectical definition,and mainly summarized the method of combining the present a detailed analysis of the existing literature material,and then focus on the induction summary method,the principle and their ideas of current master the dialectical combination of the following o 'connor thought at the same time maintain their unique innovative,o 'connor ecology marxism and I the revelatory meaning in the current ecological civilization construction,has carried on the preliminary study and analysis.The paper is divided into four parts:As the opening part of the paper,the introduction mainly expounds the theoretical background and historical significance of o 'connor's ecology,the research status of domestic and foreign scholars,the research ideas and research methods of this paper.Firstly,the causes and development trends of ecological crisis in western countries are discussed.Secondly,a series of social changes caused by ecological crisis are introduced.Finally,the relationship between capitalism and ecological problems is introduced.In the second part of the thesis,the author analyzes what profound meanings the ecological marxism theory has absorbed and what influences it has received during its formation.It can be divided into two parts.On the one hand,it comes from the humanized natural thought and natural view thought in Marx's manuscript.On the other hand,they are influenced by ecological marxists who put forward their own views in the dialectical relationship between man and nature and between nature and society.O 'connor learned a lot from it and greatly enriched his theory.The third part of the thesis mainly introduces o 'connor's ecological marxist theory.Firstly,ecology is used to reconstruct historical materialism and improve the status of nature in history.Secondly,it examines the crisis of capitalism from the perspective of ecology and reveals the inevitable contradiction and crisis in capitalist society.At last,the author conceived the great idea of ecological socialism and laid the foundation of his thought.In the last part of this paper,the self-orientation and extension of ecological theory in the current social development are discussed.First of all,it explains the innovative significance of o 'connor's ecological marxist theory and its similarities and differences with the original marxist theory.It is pointed out that it has a strong realistic critical function.It has a very important realistic enlightenment for the development of marxism modernization in China and the recognition of socialism from the perspective of development.However,it is necessary to point out the theoretical and practical problems encountered in the development of ecological marxism theory in combination with the current practical environment.This paper points out the limitation and unrealizability of o 'connor's ecological thought.It provides valuable methods and methods for ecological protection,provides impetus for the harmonious development and construction of socialism,provides ideological source for the construction of ecological civilization,and plays an important guiding role in the construction of an ecological and environment-friendly society where people and nature coexist in a friendly way.
