As a new kind of environmental protection materials,alginate materials have good biocompatibility,essential flame retardancy,bacteriostasis,biodegradation,hemostatic and moisturizing properties.In recent years,alginate material has been widely applied to medical health,personal care and health care products.However,alginate materials have poor antibacterial properties.Therefore,it is particularly important to prepare alginate fibers with antibacterial properties.In this paper,using the antibacterial properties of natural leaves,the extracts of the leaves of the leaves were added to the sodium alginate spinning solution,and the antibacterial calcium alginate fibers with good antibacterial properties were prepared by wet spinning,and the structure and properties of the fibers were tested and characterized.The results showed that the compatibility of the leaf and the alginate was good,and had no effect on the spinning process and morphology of the fibers.The antibacterial properties of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were good,the diameter of the bacteriostasis was 18.95 mm,19.56 mm,and the bacteriostasis rate of Escherichia coli was above 93%,and the antibacterial performance increased with the increase of the concentration of the leaves.The water resistance test of the antibacterial properties shows that the antibacterial properties of the fiber will be affected to a certain extent due to the continuous dissolution of the leaves after the fiber meets water.In addition,the mechanical properties of the fibers have been improved to a certain extent,and the flame retardancy is also in the available range.In order to improve the antibacterial and water resistance of the material,the non water-soluble plant essential oil was used as an antiseptic,and the essential oil was embedded in the material in the form of emulsion microspheres,and the microsphere antibacterial calcium alginate fiber was made.The results showed that the microspheres were dispersed uniformly in the spinning solution,and the diameter of the microspheres was about 0.5-2 ?m.The test results of fiber antibacterial properties showed that after the essential oil was embedded in sodium alginate,the alginate antibacterial fiber with stable antibacterial effect was prepared.Besides,the mechanical properties and flame retardancy of the fiber were tested and analyzed.The mechanical properties of the materials were improved and the flame retardancy was excellent.In addition,the microsphere antibacterial alginate film was prepared by the experiment.The film was characterized by SEM,and the antibacterial properties were tested,the thickness test and the mechanical properties were tested.The results showed that the microspheres in the film were evenly distributed,and the films had good antibacterial properties and mechanical properties.After crosslinking,the thickness of the films increased,the inhibition rate increased and the ductility decreased.
