Clothing,as an indispensable objective material condition in human social life,is also an important spiritual embodiment of the development of human civilization.Hanfu as "Chinese dress" represents the Han population changes in Xia Shang Zhou until the Ming Dynasty in the past four thousand years by wearing traditional costumes.Japan and China are mutually beneficial to each other,so Japan is directly or indirectly affected by the impact of Chinese traditional culture.The most typical of them is that kimono,as a Japanese national suit,has been on the stage of history,and is recognized and favored by the world.This topic explores the similarities and differences between Chinese traditional costumes and traditional Japanese kimono,thus explaining the rich connotation of culture endowing clothing.This paper adopts the methods of literature reading,comparative analysis and image combination.Draw conclusions from the former "why Chinese clothes today will gradually disappear in the historical stage,the development of Japanese kimono and why it can form a kind of clothing system.Aiming at the future trend of Hanfu,that is,adapting to the contemporary people's aesthetics,improving and innovating,and promoting the dress culture of the whole nation.
