The Kimono as the tradictional cloth of Japan,has a very special east aesthetics,it represent the culture of japan and is very easy to be identified.Kimono makes the world remember Japan and help Japan gets into the stage of world.Komono has extremly detail rules of what to wear in different occasion.Japan also has very particular color system,but because of the effect of tradictional thought,people awalys like to choose the plaint or fresh color while making Kimono.Kimono has its popular color and patterns for every season,which makes the natural view and the people who wearing Kimono together likes a beautiful painting.Through the history,the color of Kimono has special cultural meaning in it.Such as the white,black,red and the blue color,they are considered as the most basics color in Kimono,they can only be dressed in formal or special occasion,and until now people in Japan still keeps similar customs.Such as the white represent innocent,the black represent death and dignified.The article first begin with the definition of Kimono,the over view of it, so people can have a general whole picture of Kimono.Then in the second chapter,it’s mainly about the history of Kimono,so I can show the evolution of the Kimono.In this time,the ruling class take whole charge of how and which color should be used or can only be used for noble class.This brings politics into the color of Kimono.In chapter three,I analyse several types of Kimono that people actually wears in modern society.In the last chapter,I summarize the article,pick several typical colors and try to analyse them,to explain the important meanings of it in Japan.The personality of Japanese also reflect very comprehensive in the utilizing color of Kimono,which are strict,obey rules and the sprity of seek for perfect.
