As a traditional geological survey company,SX Company has been affected by the macro market environment since 2013,and business prices have continued to decline,resulting in a significant reduction in company revenues.Faced with increasingly severe market environment and competition within the industry,the management of the personnel of SX Company has suffered a tremendous impact.After analysis,there are some problems in the existing performance management system of SX Company.Especially for front-line employees in different work environments and work styles,how to set specific and operable assessment standards,how to set the system and weights of assessment indicators,and how to effectively evaluate qualitative indicators are the major problem about current performance management of SX Company.The author reviewed related theories,writings,literatures and practical cases of corporate success in performance management at home and abroad.Using the questionnaire survey method,conducted an in-depth study of the status quo of front-line employees’ performance management system and found the current performance management problems and causes the author conducted an in-depth study of the status quo of front-line employees’ performance management system and found the current performance management problems and causes.Combining with the current situation of SRI,the work of the front-line employees was analyzed,and the performance management methods of the front-line employees with different work environments and work styles were determined respectively using the key performance indicator method and the balanced scorecard.At the same time,it redesigned the evaluation indicators and weights in the front-line employee performance management system,assessment cycle,assessment methods,feedback complaints and results,resulting in a more scientific and effective front-line employee performance management system.In addition,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the performance management system for the front-line employees,the author established a safeguard measure for the front-line employee performance management system.Through the optimization and research of the front-line staff performance management system,it will not only help the SX company improve employee performance levels and promote the healthy development of the company,but also has certain reference significance for the construction of front-line employee performance management systems in other geological survey industries.
