The city is a collection of various elements of politics,economy,culture and population in today's region and is the main carrier of modern civilization.However,due to differences in policy inclination,geographical location,and development strategies,urban development has been characterized by sequence,stage,and imbalance.There are two main problems in the traditional urbanization process and urban association research based on statistical data:(1)single-factor indicators based on statistical data are difficult to reflect the comprehensive strength of the city;(2)it is difficult to spatialize statistical data,and it is difficult to analyze urbanization.The temporal and spatial evolution pattern of the process.Compared with traditional statistics,luminous remote sensing data can capture stable and long-lasting light sources from cities and towns,making it distinctly different from the dark rural background,and it can comprehensively reflect the development of urban population size and economic scale.Has been successfully applied in many aspects of urban research.Based on the above research background,this paper takes Anhui Province as the main research area,and uses DMSP/OLS image as the main data source to indicate the scale and strength of the city.It is supplemented by statistical data and POI data released by the statistical department.Taking the four years of 2002,2006,2009 and 2013 as the time points,using the landscape pattern index,gravity center model,gravity model,coupling analysis and other models and methods to study the urbanization process and spatial correlation of the study area.Analyze.The main conclusions drawn are as follows: Based on the above research background,this paper takes Anhui Province as the main research area,and uses DMSP/OLS image as the main data source to indicate the scale and strength of the city.It is supplemented by statistical data and POI data released by the statistical department.Taking the four years of 2002,2006,2009 and 2013 as the time points,using a variety of models and methods such as landscape pattern index,gravity center model,gravity model,and coupling analysis,the space of a single city is performed from the local to the whole.Analysis of distribution structure and urbanization research throughout Anhui Province.Finally,the evolution law of the overall spatial pattern of Anhui Province is obtained.The conclusions are as follows:(1)As a special kind of remote sensing data,luminous remote sensing image realizes the transformation from observation of Earth to observation of human activities,and makes up for the shortcomings of daytime remote sensing in monitoring human production and life at night.In the study of regional urbanization process Shows good results.On the other hand,combining nighttime remote sensing image data with statistical data can not only monitor many features in the process of urbanization,but also provide new solutions for the spatialization of urban built-up areas.(2)Take Hefei City,the capital city of Anhui Province,as an example.The spatial coupling relationship between nighttime lighting data and POI data has a high consistency.The spatial distribution trends of the two data in Hefei City are roughly the same,which better represent the spatial pattern of the main urban area and subordinate districts and counties of Hefei.Both data have good applicability in the study of the urban spatial pattern.(3)Using the landscape pattern index and the center of gravity model to analyze the characteristics of urbanization process in Anhui Province,it is found that the urbanization process of Anhui Province is continuously moving forward during the research time to indicate that the number of plaques in the city is increasing.The scale of urban land use continues to expand.The urban expansion mode is mainly based on the expansion of the big city itself,supplemented by the rise and development of small towns.(4)Using the gravity model to calculate the total correlation intensity of 16 prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province in each research year,it is found that the eastern cities such as Hefei,Wuhu and Handan are more strongly associated with other parts of the province,and the economic relationship is closer,but in the north.The relationship between the cities in the west and other cities in the province is weak,which is mainly caused by the geographical location of each city.(5)The first degree effect of the city in Anhui Province is obvious.Hefei,the provincial capital,has always been in the first place,and its driving effect on other parts of the province is obvious.The development of cities in Anhui Province is relatively balanced,the structure and grading of cities are reasonable,and the development of urban agglomerations in the province is in good condition.
