With the development of remote sensing technology, remote sensing has related research in a number of areas play great role, urban agglomeration as urban development to the mature stage of the highest organization form, in regional and statewide plays an important role. Based on remote sensing of urbanization development of related research, there has been a lot of urban expansion, land use change and the related research, daytime remote sensing data in most of the major acquisition of land cover information, and urban economic development level and comprehensive level of direct contact less. Can be obtained in the cloudless night under the earth visible light remote sensing data to reflect human activity has a very good ability, research and social and economic development is very good. The night using remote sensing data, and combined with statistical data, and taking the example of Central Plain urban agglomeration, reconstruction of Central Plain city group from 2000 to 2010 the rapid development period of economic development spatial and temporal pattern analysis temporal and spatial changes of urban agglomeration area economy level of development. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Based on the spatial linkage intensity model, this model can be applied to the remote sensing data of the night, to calculate the urban economic location intensity, and to calculate the location intensity based on the statistical data. The results show that the results of the two calculation methods are consistent, and the numerical error of the location intensity of the two kinds of data calculation is very small, which proves that the method is feasible to apply remote sensing data to the gravity model. Analysis of the location strength of each city shows that the economic location intensity of each city in the last 11 years is relatively stable.(2) Using the DMSP/OLS data and the inversion of MODIS data and statistical data of the Central Plains city group municipal GDP km grid density map. The accuracy of the simulation results is verified by the county statistics, the results show that the simulation results are accurate, GDP km grid density maps reflect the spatial and temporal variation pattern in recent 11 years of economic level in the city within the city group.(3) Based on the spatial statistical function of GIS, the spatial and temporal patterns of the economic development of the Central Plains urban agglomeration in recent 11 years are analyzed from the scale of county level. And analyzing the economic development is affected by the location, resources and environment, as well as the impact of government development policies.
