City Commercial Bank is formed under the special historical conditions of our country,is the central financial authorities rectifying city credit cooperatives,resolving the local financial risks of the product,in the middle of 1990 s,to serve the local economy,in the original city Credit cooperatives based on the local government,urban enterprises and residents to invest in the composition of the local joint-stock commercial banks.City Commercial Bank in the past thirty years of development has achieved rapid development,become an important part of China's financial system.GL Bank as a province out of the development of the local joint-stock commercial banks have also made great achievements,with a typical representative significance.By late December 2015,GL bank assets reached more than 140 billion yuan,up 27% from the beginning of the year;bank deposits totaled more than 90 billion yuan,up 17% from the beginning of the year;total loans reached more than 48 billion yuan,up 46%.Profit RMB 1 billion;Pay RMB 0.7 billion taxes.In the business indicators to maintain steady and rapid development at the same time,GL Bank of the regulatory indicators continue to be dynamic to achieve good banking standards,and received a series of social honors,to become a rapid development,with a certain regional influence of commercial banks.However,in the development process,GL Bank also has a variety of problems,especially in today's highly competitive market environment,faced with how to break through the capital constraints and geographical constraints bottlenecks,how to improve the level of management and internal control,how to achieve business model change to ensure sustainable development of major strategic issues.Therefore,GL Bank must be in-depth thinking,to develop in line with their actual situation of the development strategy,standardize and improve the scientific and rational development model,recognize and clear their own market positioning.Based on the theory of modern strategy,this paper analyzes the status quo and internal and external environment of GL Bank by using SWOT analysis method,and puts forward the development strategy and strategy of GL bank in combination with a large number of research literatures on banking development strategy to ensure the full integration and utilization of existing resources,to seek survival and development of space,and constantly expand its market share,and promote economic and social benefits of the upgrade.The research of this paper can enrich the relevant theories of bank development strategy to a certain extent and provide some reference for the development of other commercial banks,which has positive theoretical and practical significance.
