Study On Stratigic Supplier Selection & Evaluation Of VBB GSO(China) Based On Supply Chain

With the increasing marketing competition,the competition among the corporations has become competition among their supply chain.Especially under the background of economic globalization,the competition among enterprises crossed the national boundaries,and become the completion aomg global supply Chains.In the thinging mode of supply chain management,how to recogenize,select and evaluate strategic supplier,how to achieve the purpose of optimize suppliers,increase the supply chain efficiency and reduce the total cost of supply chain,it becomes one big problem for many transnational corporations.Combining the characteristics in the global supply chain in oil industry,this article analizes the supplier management situation and existing problems in global soucing office(China)of VBB,raised the plan of developing strategic suppliers from current suppliers and carrying out strategic coopertation,and researched setting up the strategic supplier's selection indicator systems and evaluation method based on this theory.Based on the analysis on VBB supplier management and existing problems,this article recogenized 5 types of strategic products and determined the process of selecting strategic suppliers firstly,and then demonstrated the indicator of VBB strategic supplier selection from 8 aspetcs: quality,price,delivery,corporate capability,service level,supplier coopertation,social responsibility and financial situation,and established the strategic supplier selection indicator system accordingly.Then apply the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)as the method for getting the index weight for VBB strategic supplier slection evaluation system.Finally,applied this method for downhole toolings suppliers' evaluation and found best strategic supplier.
