In recent years,China's rail transit equipment industry has developed rapidly. The domestic market is mainly high-speed rail and urban rail.In 2016,China's rail transit investment totaled more than 380 billion Yuan,an increase of 21.1% compared with 2012.By the first half of 2017,31 cities in China have opened urban rail transit lines, with a total operating mileage of 4400 km.In addition,China has more than 1300 high-speed trains, ranking first in the world.According to estimates, the average cost of building high-speed rail in foreign enterprises is more than US$0.5 billion per kilometer, only about half in China, and the construction period of Chinese construction enterprises is short, and the construction efficiency is more than twice that of foreign enterprises. From these data, the study of the international competitiveness of China's rail transit equipment industry will provide theoretical support for the further development of the industry in the future.Based on the current situation of China's rail transit equipment industry export, this paper synthesizes the existing literature, explains China's current international competitiveness from the RCA index,CA index,TCP index,MS index, and uses Porter's Diamond Model to study the main factors affecting the international competitiveness of China's rail transit equipment industry. The problem of prime. This paper begins with explanatory variables such as research and experimental development expenditure, patent application authorization for inventions, outbound volume of major cargo in major ports, actual foreign capital utilization, and per capita GDP.Granger causality test results show that: 5% significant level,R & D expenditure, patent application authorization for invention, per capita GDP is the Granger reason for the enhancement of international competitiveness of China's rail transit equipment industry,on the contrary,it is not significant;10% significant level, the main port cargo outbound volume; It is the Granger reason for the international competitiveness of China's rail transit equipment industry, but on the contrary,it is not significant. Finally, the paper establishes a time series model by stepwise regression and analyzes the data from 1997 to 2015.The results of the empirical analysis show that the expenditure on R&D,the number of patent applications for invention, the amount of major cargo leaving the port and the amount of foreign capital actually utilized in the main ports are stable after the first-order difference, but after entering the regression model, the expenditure on R&D,the amount of major cargo leaving the port and the amount of foreign capital actually utilized in the main ports are stable. The impact on the international market share is insufficient. The number of patent applications for invention changes positively with the international market share, which conforms to the economic law.
