Research On Yu Shude's Thought And Practice Of Cooperative Economy

In the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,the world capitalist economy developed rapidly.In order to seek a way to save the country,advanced intellectuals began to spread and introduce Western ideas.The economic thought of cooperation was introduced into China during this period.Yu Shude was one of the pioneers of China's cooperative movement.He was not only an active communicator of cooperative economic thought,but also an advocate and an important practitioner of China's cooperation.He advocated and promoted various cooperation undertakings in the vast rural areas and established cooperative organizations to make important contributions to the development of China's modern rural cooperative movement and the development of the rural economy.After the founding of People's Republic of China,the cooperation movement in rural areas nationwide provided important practical experience and valuable institutional resources.A comprehensive analysis of its ideological content and a re-understanding of its theoretical values and deficiencies have positively contributed to the development of contemporary China's co-operative economy.From the perspective of the history of economic thought,this article adopts a unified historical and logical approach to carry out a comprehensive and systematic study of the origin,development and evolution process of Yu Shude's cooperative ideas,and the cooperative undertakings throughout its lifetime.First of all,through understanding the life of Yu Shude,two sources of the idea of Yu Shude's cooperative economy are derived.The first is the traditional Chinese mutual assistance and cooperation ideology.The second is the cooperative economic thoughts of Japan and other countries that came into contact during the period of study abroad in Japan.Secondly,the development and evolution of Yu Shude's cooperative economic thought and its cooperative practice are discussed and studied in chronological order.Yu Shude not only proposed the functions and uses of various types of cooperatives,but also formulated the operating methods of various types of cooperatives,providing theoretical support and institutional basis for the establishment of rural cooperatives.He believed that cooperatives can not only save disasters and prevent disasters,but also make the rural economy rejuvenate.This notion was not only reflected in its early cooperation activities between the Chinese and foreign artists,but also permeated its subsequent thought of industrial cooperation.Yu Shude devoted all his life to the study of cooperative economic thought.Histhoughts have influenced a large number of cooperative economists.It had a positive impact on the early core figures of the Kuomintang,including Chen Guofu,the important leader of the Communist Party of China Mao Zedong,and the collaborator Zhang Yuanshan.Finally,the article evaluates Yu Shude's cooperative economic thinking and practice.This sums up the historical position of Yu Shude's cooperative economic thought,points out the modern value of his cooperative economic thought,and its inspiration to the construction of new rural areas.Yu Shude,as an advocate of China's early cooperation ideology,occupies an important position in the history of modern Chinese cooperative economic thought.Today's national conditions are not the same as those in modern China,but the large number of peasants is still an important national condition.The new rural cooperative economic organizations can meet the needs of farmers and solve the problems of farmers.The problem of peasants who are the subjects of agriculture,rural areas and farmers has been solved,and the problems of agriculture and rural areas will be solved.Therefore,we can draw lessons from Yu Shude's ideas and practice of cooperative economy,find out the similarities and differences and feasible methods,and promote the construction of new countryside.
