With the rapid development of the interbank business of banks in China,the inter-bank line,together with the company line and the retail line,has become the three major lines of business of commercial banks and it has played a positive role in the development of the economy and banks for the past few years.On the other hand,in the process of the rapid development of the interbank business,it has also become the key focus of supervision because of the frequent occurrence of risk cases.Under the environment of various challenges and strong supervision,such as the new normal of economy,capital constraint,narrowing interest rate and high non-performing enterprises,commercial banks are plagued with the problem of how to develop interbank business under the new situation,but it also prompts commercial banks in the new form of supervision to explore constantly.Applying strategic management theory and SWOT analysis tools,this paper,through reading literature and analysis of a large number of data in the interbank business,combined with the author's practical experience,using the methods of investigation,quantitative and qualitative methods,comparative analysis,and taking the case study of the development of the interbank business of CEB Changchun Branch as an example.This paper analyses the external environment of the interbank business of CEB Changchun Branch from three aspects: macro environment,industry environment and regional environment,reveals the opportunities and threats faced by the interbank business of CEB Changchun Branch,and point out the internal strengths and weaknesses of the interbank business of CEB Changchun Branch from three aspects: resources,value chain and organizational culture.Then,according to the opportunities and challenges it faces,its own strengths and weaknesses,it formulates the overall objectives and three specific objectives of the strategy,chooses four strategies: competitive strategy,market development strategy,product development strategy and combination strategy.Four key strategies are put forward,including become a bank of small and medium-sized banks,creating supermarket of financial products,put marketing function of interbank business on lower operating units and accelerating the development and promotion of new products according to the objectives and strategies.Finally,the safeguard measures in terms of system,organization and personnel are put forward for the key strategies.It is of certain guiding significance for the interbank business of CEB Changchun Branch,and of certain reference value for the supervision department and other commercial banks.
