An Investigation Into The Causes Of Poverty Among Rural Poor Households In Zhangwu County Of Liaoning Province

How to eliminate poverty is the common goal of all mankind in the world.It is also the inevitable requirement of building a well-off society in an all-round way at this stage.As the node of building a well-off society has been impending in 2020,the "Chinese style poverty alleviation" is facing a severe challenge.In 2016,the poverty-stricken population in Liaoning was still more than 800 thousand people,but in the period of "13th Five-Year",it was also the decisive stage for Liaoning to win the whole province to fight poverty,to build a well-off society in an all-round way and to achieve the goal of the first 100 year struggle.On the basis of the results of poverty alleviation research at home and abroad,this paper takes Zhangwu County of Liaoning Province as the research object of poverty alleviation.Through the data collection methods such as questionnaire and field interview,this paper studies the poverty characteristics of poor households in Zhangwu County of Liaoning Province,analyzes the causes and influencing factors of poor households in Zhangwu County,and finds out the causes of poor households' poverty and limits the poor and poor households to return to the poor.The poor factors and corresponding policy recommendations are of great significance for the pertinence and rationality of poverty alleviation in Zhangwu County of Liaoning province.The main contents of this article include: the first part,the current situation of poverty in Zhangwu county and the main poverty alleviation mode are elaborated,and the limitations of the current poverty alleviation mode are pointed out.The second part,through the questionnaire survey,the basic characteristics and poverty characteristics of poor households in Zhangwu county are collected,and the basic characteristics and poverty status of the poor households are analyzed and analyzed in the descriptive statistics.The third part is the conclusion.According to the survey data and investigation information on the spot,this paper analyzes the factors affecting poor households in poverty in Zhangwu county from five angles of individual basic situation,infrastructure status,economic conditions and natural conditions,and the fourth part,puts forward corresponding policy suggestions.This paper draws a conclusion that there are various factors for poverty alleviation in Zhangwu county.It is more common for poverty and cause of poverty due to disease.There are many people in Zhangwu County,high population,high labor loss,low cultural quality and higher education cost,which are the important factors to prevent poor households from poverty.The structure of farmers' income is single and the family economic foundation is weak.In view of these problems,this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions: strengthen the desertification control in the surrounding areas of Zhangwu County,improve the social security system,improve the medical security mechanism,improve the rural credit system,reform the poverty alleviation mechanism,optimize the industrial model,improve the income level,and attract the labor to return to the nest.
