Research On The Cost And Benefit Of Kiwifruit Growers In Shaanxi

China is the original center of kiwifruit.Northern Qinling Mountains is the world recognized high-quality kiwifruit producing area.The Shaanxi Province is the largest kiwifruit production province in China.At present,the province has built six kiwifruit production bases and formed 70,000 hectares of kiwifruit production belt in the Qinling Mountains.Therefore,the study of the cost and benefit of kiwifruit growers in Shaanxi Province and the discussion of how to minimize the cost have important theoretical significance and practical significance for promoting the cost-saving of kiwifruit growers,the enthusiasm and effectiveness of growers and the development of the kiwifruit industry in Shaanxi Province.Based on cost-benefit theory and cost efficiency theory,based on the research literature of domestic and foreign scholars,this study uses Zhouzhi and Mei County as research areas and uses the survey data of 277 micro-growing households from 2016 to 2017.First,based on a detailed analysis of the costs and benefits of kiwifruit growers and a comparative analysis of the costs and benefits of Mei County and Zhouzhi.Secondly,analyze cost efficiency of kiwifruit growers in Shaanxi by DEA model,then analyze factors influencing cost efficiency by Tobit model.Thirdly,based on the above analysis,then make suggestions to improve the production of growers.The results show that:(1)In the kiwifruit planting cost,the material and service costs and labor costs occupies a major position,but the land cost proportion is small;in the material and service fees,the direct cost is greater than the indirect cost;in the labor cost,The discount for home-use workers is more than the cost for employees;in land costs,fold rent of owned land is more than rent of rented land;among the benefits of kiwifruit cultivation,the total output value,net profit and cash income are good;In comparative analysis of different regions,the planting cost and benefits of Mei County are greater than that of Zhouzhi County.(2)Overall,the overall cost efficiency of the sample kiwifruit growers is not high,and the low allocation efficiency is the main reason;in terms of different areas,it is also consistent with the overall analysis results,and the low allocation efficiency is The main factors affecting the improvement of cost efficiency,the technical efficiency of Mei County is slightly higher than that of Zhouzhi County,and the allocation efficiency is slightly lower than Zhouzhi County;household education level,training times,and the number of kiwifruit plots have significant positive effect on cost efficiency,whether there are village cadres has significant negative effects,the proportion of kiwifruit income,the age of kiwifruit,and the participation of cooperatives have insignificant positive effect on cost efficiency.The age of the household and the number of family kiwifruit laborers have insignificant negative effect on cost efficiency.(3)Based on the above analysis,then make suggestions:expand sales ways,strengthen infrastructure construction,promote the use of key technologies,pay attention to the training of growers,encourage land transfer,improve fruit quality supervision and focus on structure configuration of input element.
