Study On The Promotion Of Walnut Varieties In Luonan County,Shaanxi Province

Developing the characteristic agricultural vice industry is an important way to promote the sustainable development of the county economy,and the practical and feasible promotion of fine varieties is an important guarantee for the development of characteristic agricultural vice industries.Luonan County,in Shaanxi Province,is an important walnut production base in China.Since the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”,Luonan County has gradually given up its use of existing raw walnut seedlings and promoted it through high-risk exchange and selection and breeding to promote the development of the walnut industry.The suitable varieties play an important role in the development process of the walnut industry.The summary of the experience and problems in the popularization of Shaanxi Luonan walnut varieties not only has important significance for the production of walnuts in this county,but also has positive reference value for the development of characteristic agriculture in other counties and promotion of improved varieties.This paper is based on the popularization of walnut varieties in Luonan County,Shaanxi Province,and comprehensively uses such theories as agricultural extension framework model,innovation and diffusion,target group,and two-way communication.On the basis of referencing a lot of literature of the domestic and foreign walnut industry for development and promotion of improved varieties of agricultural and forestry products,with the questionnaires,in-depth interviews,and field surveys were used to analyze the development history and current status of the promotion of improved varieties of walnuts in Luonan County,Shaanxi Province.At the same time,the author analyses the performance of the promotion of walnut in Luonan County by the result of the questionnaire survey.And based on this,the author points out the difficulties in the promotion of walnut seeds,including that the low acceptance of walnut seed,the problem of the last kilometer in promotion of the walnut varieties,the lag of the follow-up services in the process of popularize,the decentralization of the objects and the low efficiency in the work.Through the analysis,the number of risks involved in that poor policies support and implementation,frequent natural disasters such as the low temperature and frost,imperfection of land transfer process,shortage of promotion funds,incomplete system and mechanism in village and town,the low comprehensive level of the promotion team,disperse link of the walnut production process,high risk and high cost in the promotion of walnut varieties,undereducated and poor perceptibility of the farmers and so on,all of these are the main restrictive factors for the promotion of walnut good varieties in Luonan County.To further promote the promotion of walnut varieties in Luonan County and improve its promotion efficiency,the author proposes a number of suggestions such as strengthening policy support and policy implementation,establishing multiple protection mechanisms,improving the promotion of the organization mechanism,strengthening the promotion of walnut varieties system construction,and enhancing farmers' cognitive ability by using different methods.
