Walnut is one of important economic tree species in Shaanxi province.Shangluo is the main producing area of Shaanxi walnut.Shangluo city is located in the south qinling,unique geographical environment and a good climate conditions.Shangluo is the best suitable area for walnut growth.In recent 10 years,Shangluo city government office has focusing on building a good walnut garden,implementing vigorously the walnut grafting.At the same time,in order to strengthening the management of on the tree and under the tree,not only gradually increase the yield and quality of Shangluo walnut,and effectively improve the speed of walnut industry development in large-scale and improved variety development.However,there are still many problems in the management of walnut,such as the cultivation management technology is backward,the poor quality trees needs to be modified,the serious pests and diseases damage and so on.Which are still the main problems in the development of the walnut industry.Based on the actual situation of Shangluo walnut,this paper aims at promoting the healthy development of Shangluo walnut,carrying out the investigation of industrial problems,exploring the main problems in the development of walnut industry,and putting forward feasible technical measures.The research results show that high grafting for hanging breed have been become an important task for the production of walnut trees.It is necessary to push forward the new technology of walnut high grafting from Xinong with independent intellectual property rights--"wrap film,newspaper shade,grafting scions like horse's ear" method.The method is easy to grasp,the graft survival rate is high,trees crown recover quickly in the grafting walnut.The management of walnut cultivation should be standardized.The management is mainly shaping and trimming on the trees.The management mainly includes the soil,fertilizer and water management,reasonable intercropping under the trees.The results show that Atrijuglans hetauhei Yang,Colletotrichum qloesoporioides Penz and Dichocrocis punctiferalis Guenee are the main pests and diseases on walnut trees.The methods of physical,chemical,biological and other measures should be taken simultaneously.The method of "prevention first,comprehensive prevention and control",at same time,it is also necessary to preventing natural disasters.These help to improve the quality and efficiency of Shangluo walnut.
