| The acceleration of social development pace and quick development of information technology are accompanied by more and more procrastination phenomenon.In the context,the procrastination draws more and more attentions from academic field.Current related researches mainly take student group as study object,yet,the procrastination of employees shall not be neglected.Therefore,this study takes employees in enterprises as study objects and discusses the mediating effect of intrinsic motivation between inclusive leadership and procrastination of employees.Also,this study regards perceived insider status as the boundary condition to explore its moderating effect.The study combines theoretical and empirical analysis.Based on the relevant literature,we use SPSS22.0 and Mplus7.4 to make the data analysis and examined our hypothesis.The results of the analysis are shown as follows:(1)Inclusive leadership is negatively associated with employee's procrastination.That is,the more inclusive that leader has shown,the less procrastination that the employee will show.(2)Inclusive leadership is positively associated with employee's intrinsic motivation.That is,the more inclusive that leader has shown,the more intrinsic motivation that the employee will have.(3)Intrinsic motivation is negatively associated with employee's procrastination,.That is,the more intrinsic motivation that the employee have,the less procrastination that the employee will show.(4)Intrinsic motivation mediated the relationship between inclusive leadership and employee's procrastination.That is,inclusive leadership could reduces employee procrastination through employees' intrinsic motivation.(5)Perceived insider status negatively moderates the negative correlation between intrinsic motivation and employee procrastination,that is,the stronger the perceived insider status is,the weaker the correlation between intrinsic motivation and employee procrastination is.(6)The mediating effect of intrinsic motivation on the relationship between inclusive leadership and procrastination will be moderated by the perceived insider status.That is,the stronger the perceived insider status is,the weaker the negative correlation between inclusive leadership and employee's procrastination which through intrinsic motivation is.And the moderated mediation model has been test.In summary,this study explores the mechanism and boundary condition of inclusive leadership on procrastination of employees,which is an expansion of studies on procrastination in working field.Also,the study provides employees and managers with some enlightenments based on study results and makes an outlook based on study limitations. |
