With the rapid iteration of Internet technology,the world economy has entered a stage of high speed.In order to alleviate the bottleneck of the resource encountered in the process of rapid economic growth and enhance the international competitive ability of our country,the transformation of the economic development mode and the upgrading of the industrial structure are considered as the most important strategic planning.Under such a social and economic background,China has increased its support to emerging industries.Therefore,how to choose an effective and sustainable new industry evolution path has become the key for China to seize the commanding heights of emerging industries.Taking the entropy perspective as the breakthrough point of the research on the emerging industry evolution,by focusing on the entropy change of the emerging industry system,it identifies the factors that lead to the entropy change of the emerging industries,which can help to explore the deep motive force of the evolution of the emerging industry,realize the optimal allocation of the resources in the emerging industries,promote the effective interaction between enterprises and push the optimization development of the emerging industries.This study first systematically reviews the research status and related theories of emerging industries,emerging industry evolution and entropy principles,and redefines the concept of new industries and entropy based on the existing new industry research and the application of entropy principle in management.Secondly,from the two dimensions of inside and outside industry,this study qualitatively analyze the influencing factors of the evolution of emerging industries.Based on the characteristics of the emerging industry,which is an open complex giant system,this study defines that the new ventures and the incumbent enterprises in the industry are the subsystems of the emerging industrial system,and analyzes mechanism of the emerging industry evolution under the entropy perspective,and then builds the emerging industry evolution model under the entropy perspective.Finally,taking the representative of China's emerging industries--the Internet of Things as an example,this study applies the evolution model of emerging industries from the perspective of entropy.Through the analysis of the data of the Internet of Things industry,we can find that the entropy of the Internet of Things industry in China increased from 2010 to 2016.Among them,the overall entropy shows a decreasing trend in the induction layer industry,with the entropy increasing in 2015.The entropy increases in the network industry as a whole,with the entropy decreasing in the last two years.In the application layer industry,during the period of entropy decreasing,the entropy value obviously decreased after a significant increase in entropy.The research results show that,as an open complex giant system,the role of the industrial system evolution is divided into two levels: one is the interaction between the subsystems,which is the strong driving force of the industrial evolution,the other is the interaction between the subsystems and the environment.These two non-linear effect make the factors such as technology,information,capital,talent,knowledge and other factors connect with each other,interact with each other and penetrate into each other,and the synthetic effects formed by various forms of effective energy change diffuse from the enterprise to the industry,promote the productivity of the industry,and eventually determine the evolution of the system.The coordination,interaction and synergistic innovation of the internal and external subjects of the emerging industries will break the barriers between industries,regions and departments,promote the resource sharing,promote effective energy of emerging industries,reduce the entropy value of emerging industrial systems,and realize the effective evolution of emerging industries.
