The Correlational Research Of Corporate Environmental Performance And Financial Performance

Since the 21st century,the global industrial revolution has further accelerated,and China,the second largest economy in the world,is no exception.However,at the same time,various environmental problems,which are typical of the country's large-scale hazy weather,are frequent,making people concerned about economic development overwhelmed.“Green Mountain is Jinshan Yinshan",and the Nineteenth Party once again made a strategic plan on how to realize the sustainability of the entire society.In dealing with environmental issues,industrial companies that are the main sources of pollution,have no responsibility.Does it have to have a negative impact on corporate financial performance when it comes to responding to corporate environmental performance?Through what aspects of improvement and efforts can enterprises make a balance between optimizing environmental performance and ensuring their own development,and even achieve a win-win mechanism?Based on the above issues,this paper studies the relationship between the two,in order to bring about far-reaching significance to the environment and the development of the enterprise.Firstly,this paper takes the severe environmental reality as the starting point,starts from the experience of the relevant scholars,and theoretically defines the environmental performance,financial performance and the factors affecting the relationship between them.Under the guidance of relevant theories,the envuironmental performance measurement index system is established.Next,the regional overall environmental performance and financial performance related indicators of regional industrial companies were compiled.After preliminary analysis and screening,the principal component analysis method was adopted.That is,the main components of each aspect are extracted by dimensionality reduction,and finally the typical environmental performance measurement indexes are determined in three aspects:energy consumption,environmental pollution,and environmental governance.Through the correlation analysis of cross-section data and the analysis of panel data of different interpretation variables in provinces and regions in 2012-2016,the relationship between environmental performance and financial performance was determined using empirical methods.This article focuses on the regional macro-level research and hopes to reveal the importance of the company's focus on the coordinated development of environmental performance and financial performance,and to explore the development of the company through the recommendations of government policies and corporate environmental performance management.Prospects for the win-win mechanism with environmental protection and related academic research.
