Abstract/Summary:
In the context of the "overall confidence crisis",interpersonal trust has become increasingly important,which has an important impact on employees' emotions,attitudes,and job performance.Companies also place increasing emphasis on trusting.From the existing literature,scholars mainly focus on the study of trusting,and little on feeling trusted.In fact,feeling trusted is an independent concept and structure compared to trusting in the trust relationship.It refers to the trusted other's own perception of whether he or she is trusted by others.In addition,in recent years,feeling trusted from supervisor has gradually been considered as an important type of trust,and it is considered to be an important prerequisite for arousing employees' perception.Therefore,it is is helpful to enrich research results in the field of trust from the perspective of the subordinate's feeling of being trusted by the supervisor.In view of this,this article aims to study the relationship among employees' feeling of trusted,job well-being,and job performance,as well as whether the job well-being and the four dimensions of it(emotional well-being,cognitive well-being,and occupational well-being,Social well-being)could be an intermediary role between employee' feeling of trusted and job performance.In this study,we had collected about 405 questionnaires,and then analyzed the data by using variance analysis,correlation analysis,and regression analysis.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The employees' feeling of trusted is positively related to job performance;(2)The employees' feeling of trusted is positively related to job well-being;(3)Job well-being and its four dimensions(emotional well-being,cognitive well-being,professional well-being,and social well-being)have a mediation effect between between the employees' feeling of trusted and job well-being.Finally,in this study,we also provides some suggestions for Chinese companies to improve their employees' trust,and enhance the trust relationship between employees and their superiors,so that we can improve the employees' job well-being and job performance.
