With the increasingly prominent problems of energy shortages and environmental pollution,electric vehicles,by virtue of advantages such as high efficiency and zero emissions,have attracted wide attention from various countries and become one of the main development directions for new energy vehicles in the future.However,restrictions,including mileage and charging duration,are likely to cause psychological anxiety among consumers,leading to the slow pace of private purchase of electric vehicles.Electric vehicle rental can not only eliminate the consumer's anxiety to some extent,but also allow more users to access electric vehicles.Therefore,it has become a new business mode to promote the development of electric vehicles.Meanwhile,with the increasing traffic congestion in cities,carpooling has gradually become a mode of travel that people have accepted and adopted.Adding carpooling to electric vehicle rental can satisfy the user's rental demand,enrich the user's travel mode,and improve the operating efficiency of the rental system.In addition,the design and operating efficiency of the electric vehicle rental system are closely linked.Relying on a rational rental system design,the electric vehicle rental mode can fully exert its advantages and the development of the domestic electric vehicle industry can be significantly promoted.With consideration of the characteristics of mileage limitation and charging requirements,this thesis conducts an exploration on the design of electric vehicle rental system.The main work includes the following three parts:In the first part,the development status,research background and significance of electric vehicle rental are introduced.Then,a review of the car-sharing system and carpooling is summarized.Further,based on the existing research results and deficiencies,the content and purpose of the thesis are proposed.In the second part,the model of electric vehicle rental system is established.In this model,both traveler's interest and decision maker's interest,are taken into account.Constrained by the service efficiency and the service level,the model aims at minimizing the total system cost,including the cost of the rental system and the users.Then,a simulated annealing algorithm is used to solve the model.The model and algorithm are also verified by numerical cases.The results indicate that,the proposed model can successfully determine the optimal electric vehicle rental system design scheme and effectively describe the operation process of electric vehicle rental system,including the activities of each user and each electric vehicle.In the third part,an electric vehicle rental system model considering carpooling is developed.Adding carpooling to the rental system provides users with more travel choices.Constrained by vehicle quantity and waiting time,carpool matching aims at maximizing the total time saving.According to the principle of system optimization,an electric vehicle rental system model considering carpooling is established,and the algorithm for solving it is given.In addition,the model is verified by numerical cases.The results indicate that,the proposed system can effectively reduce users' waiting time for rental service and improve the overall utilization of electric vehicles.
