The “Managing Methods for Pilot Units of Consumer Finance Company” is formally distributed by China Banking Regulatory Commission in 2009,for the purpose of adapting the economic development of China.It is obviously the consumer finance industry has made a substantial development after the pilot units are put into operation based on the statistics.The number of consumer finance company has increased from four at the beginning to 15 by the end of 2016.The industry has stepped into a phase of development with more order compared with former phase of “savage growth”.This dissertation concentrates on the study of China's consumer finance companies' development.Firstly,via comparison with the consumer finance companies of United States of America and Japan in terms of relative policy,customer segmentation,credit information system,legislation,cyber finance and so on,this dissertation has pointed out the downsides of current China's consumer finance companies and proposed opinions on improvements.It is expected to find a proper direction for the development of China's consumer finance companies through the comparison as well.Secondly,this paper has stepped further to discuss the factors thatrestrict the development of China's consumer finance companies in current situation.This paper,in addition,has investigated further in search of countermeasures to solve the restriction and to shed a light on the route which leads China's consumer financial market to a financially healthy condition.
