A Study The Evolution Mechanism Of Tourism Destination Governance Model

In recent years,tourism has been leading the growth of Chinese economy in the process of development.Chinese tourism has developed into the middle advanced stage of popular tourism,and the leisure,differentiation and orientation of tourism demand.This poses a challenge to the development of tourism destination.Tourism destination,as the carrier of tourism industry,has development strategies in different periods.Since 1974 in China,the development of tourism industry has experienced a complete government control period,political reception to the economic transition period,view of regulation period preliminary development period of market economy transformation period,political reception to the economic into the tourism industry in the four periods,the government plays an important role in the tourist destination management,from the a lump sum to the development of combination of government and marketing leading,the development of tourism destination through the market to test the process of development.This research consists of theoretical research and empirical research.The theoretical part focuses on systematic analysis of previous studies at home and abroad,exploring the content,nature,objective and relevant theories of governance of tourism.It is followed by the analysis on advantages and disadvantages of tourism management modes;therefore,the evolution of tourism management is revealed.The theoretical part is a case study of Taining's management of tourism in different times.The author brings up suggestions for tourism development in Taining on the basis of theoretical verification.The main research methods adopted in this study include literature research,field survey,statistical analysis,and historical comparison study.This research on tourism destination in different mode of tourism management system under the governance mechanism as the research object,including the main research issues :First,the impact of tourism destination management mode brings to the development of tourism destination;second,compare the development of tourism destination in different mode;third,the formation mechanism of tourism management the destination;fourth,the optimal path of development of tourism destination management mode.The main conclusions of the study include: management of tourism destination mainly depends on the government governance,the government play the main role in tourism development,should shape the tourism destination market governance mode as the main body,the government should play the role of the coordinator to form tourism network governance,coordinate the various stakeholders including government,enterprises,non-governmental organizations,local residents ant other interests,the formation of network governance,carry out management work in state-owned assets management;tourism right recovery,taking the government as the leading tourism development under special circumstances,the government should the development pattern from the scenic type to the direction of development of global the transformation of the mode of tourism development in tourism destination.The major idea of this research is,in the development of tourism in Taining,except for financial support,consummating law system and positive market environment,the involvement of interest parties into decision-making processes should be introduced.Thus,the interest parties can not only bring forward their requirement,but also contribute ideas and suggestions.In terms of business operating,market should play a more active role,involving more social capital,tourist enterprises,and more professionals into the development of tourism and improvement of services,creating win-win for both enterprises and the government.In the perspective of supervisory mechanism,the government should,on one hand,strengthen the management of the professionals,and on the other hand,supervise the interest parties to achieve the development of tourism;in terms of coordination,the government should play a dominant role,balance the interest parties,ensuring a sustainable development of tourism.
