The Evaluation On Regional Innovation Capability Of Wuhan Metropolitan And Its Spatial Pattern

Under the background of economic globalization,"innovation-driven" strategy is becoming the core content of many countries' economic development.Under the background of this era,China is building a national innovation system with Chinese characteristics and promoting the construction of innovative countries to win the initiative of development.National innovation activities must rely on a specific geographic space,so that the national innovation behavior of national innovation system could be translate into regional innovation ability.Not only regional innovation is the cornerstone and the carrier of national innovation development,but also is the foundation of the national innovation system.Wuhan Metropolitan Area has superior terrain and abundant Innovation resources,is the core region of the hubei province economic development,is also the important strategic fulcrum of the rise of central China.The construction of the regional innovation system is close contact with the construction of an innovative country.Correctly and objectively to reveal and evaluate the regional innovation ability of Wuhan Metropolitan Area,found that the restriction factors of regional innovation capability improved.,can not only boost the construction of innovative hubei,to achieve the leap development of the central China,but also explores the beneficial experience for the construction of an innovative country.This article is based on the relevant data of Wuhan Metropolitan Area,build the regional innovation ability evaluation index system contains that innovation input,innovation output,regional innovation environment,using sequential global principal component analysis to evaluate the regional innovation ability of Wuhan Metropolitan Area;Based on this,combined with spatial econometric model and spatial statistical methods,explores the regional innovation capability pattern and its influencing factors in Wuhan Metropolitan Area.The main conclusions of this paper are:(1)the development of regional innovation ability of Wuhan Metropolitan Area shows the distribution characteristics of "With Wuhan as the core,the middle and east are strong and the west is weak".At the same time the hot spots on present the general distribution characteristics of "the middle and east are hot pots and the west is cold pot".Wuhan city and Huangshi city have gradually become the center area and sub-center area of Wuhan Metropolitan Area's innovation ability development.(2)On the whole,Wuhan Metropolitan Area has formed a innovation ability development model with characteristics of "capital driven,and secondly human resources drive".The increase of capital input and human resources input,the strengthening of the ability in invite investment and the improvement of education environment will have a significant effect on the development of innovation ability in Wuhan Metropolitan Area.at the same time,the region innovation ability development in Wuhan Metropolitan Area exist obvious positive spatial spillover effects.(3)From the perspective of trend,the innovation capacity of Wuhan Metropolitan Area is steadily increasing,which is expected to become the the new growth pole of China's innovative capacity development.
