Along with the development of economy and forces of production,the level of consumption power increases continually,as well as the demand of consumers,which includes not only the size of demand,but also the structure of demand.In other word,the demand of consumers is becoming more and more diversified,personalized,and microcosmic in this era.As the pillar of economy in some part of China,fashion industry follows its own business model always,which generally refers to batch production that has been standardized,and consumers are guided by shopping guide and fashion enterprises to consume those standardized products.As a result,a big amount of backlog of goods are produced since fashion enterprises are not capable of interpreting the way their consumers think exactly all the time.Thus,two action programs have been proposed to response to the demand of consumption revolution,which are “Made in China 2025” and “Internet +”,to facilitate the upgrade process of production model from traditional standardized batch production to personalized customization within fashion industry.Fashion enterprises are expected to have an open and positive attitude,and rational method to deal with this production revolution.Apart from the information construction and automatic import and management,Flexible Manufacturing System(FMS)is necessary for organizations to achieve personalized customization in fashion industry,which allows the system to react in case of changes that take place within organization,production department,and delivery sector.Consequently,business data are matched with market data since they are based on real information that come from real demand of consumers and consumers took part into the upgrading of business value chain.Furthermore,different sectors in a company supply chain are expected to be driven by consumer demand,which includes design,procurement,production and delivery.Second,business operation,information and capital flow,and supplies should be rationalized according to market response.This article helps to design the FMS scenario for HS company,supervise the implement process,as well as evaluate the outcome,when they are taking actions to make garment personalized.This article introduces the theory of personalized customization and FMS firstly,then analyses the changes that HS company has took in terms of order flow and onsite control.The application of modularization of products,computer aid design,automatic arrangement procedure,and lean thinking in FMS,will lead the transformation of traditional batch production to personalized customization.The purpose of this article is to help HS company become a leading brand in fashion industry in this upcoming consuming revolution,by responding market demand more effectively and realizing the transformation and upgrading of enterprises successfully.
