Research On The Measurement And Influencing Factors Of Multidimensional Poverty From The Perspective Of County-level Village

Poverty problem has always been considered as one of the most important issues faced by all countries in the world,which will result in various social problems especially in developing countries.China,the largest developing country,has encountered more social problems caused by poverty,which seriously restricts regional economic development and social stability.With the concept of precision poverty alleviation,studies on precision poverty alleviation in domestic are mainly concentrated on the three major aspects,namely precise identification,accurate help and precise management.The index system of poverty population identification is incomplete by checking the identification of poverty standards all around the world,which usually adopts a single-dimensional identification rather than distinguish the relation between absolute poverty and relative poverty.Therefore,this paper carries out multi-dimensional poverty identification based on the single-dimensional identification starting from the actual situation in the studied area,and finds out the essence of regional poverty as well as identifies the main factors of influencing the regional poverty so as to provide targeted poverty alleviation policies.Jinzhai County is located in the heart of the Dabie Mountains and is the core area for poverty alleviation in Anhui Province.Poor conditions in the mountainous areas,inconvenient transportation,and fragile ecological environment cause the lower regional economic development compared to the rest of the county in the whole country and meanwhile the poverty problem is more obvious.In this paper,Jinzhai County will be chosen as the objective to sort out the theory of multi-dimensional poverty.Then,the influencing factors will be identified through sample villages.Finally,opinions with respect to poverty alleviation and governance will be put forward.The overall content of the paper can be divided into three parts.The first and the second chapters are the first part of this article,which mainly elaborates the background and significance of the research,the overview of poverty research at home and abroad,and combs the related concepts and theoretical foundations of poverty,multi-dimensional poverty,and precision poverty alleviation.The second part is the third,fourth and fifth chapters aiming at measuring regional single and multi-dimensional poverty,and visualizing multi-dimensional poverty data through Arcgis spatial interpolation and thus finding out the main factors affecting regional poverty by analyzing the influencing factors of multi-dimensional poverty in a sample of impoverished villages.The third part is the sixth and seventh chapters,which will illustrate the overall poverty alleviation ideas and poverty alleviation strategies in the studied area and finally summarize the main conclusions and viewpoints of the paper.Reviewing the context of this paper,the main conclusions include: First,regional poverty identification should be explored from a multidimensional perspective.By comparing regional single-dimension poverty and multi-dimensional poverty,multi-dimensional poverty can more accurately identify regional poverty depth and breadth.Accurate poverty alleviation requirements.Secondly,the effectiveness of poverty alleviation in recent years in Jinzhai County is obvious to all.When measuring the multidimensional poverty in the region,when the poverty dimension K=2,the multi-dimensional poverty rate is 53%.When the dimension K=3,the multidimensional poverty incidence rate is only 9.4%.It can be clearly seen from these two sets of data that multidimensional poverty in Jinzhai County is mainly concentrated in two dimensions,and regional multidimensional poverty levels are currently effectively alleviated.Third,the spatial distribution of multi-dimensional poverty in the county area The multi-dimensional poverty rate and multi-dimensional poverty index in the northeast-southwest region are higher than those in other parts of the study area;and among various indicators,the contribution rates of the income,education,and health dimensions to the multidimensional poverty index will be higher.Fourth,the spatial distribution pattern of multi-dimensional poverty from the perspective of the village community is similar to the hierarchical distribution of multi-dimensional poverty in the village,which is particularly obvious from northwest to southeast.The incidence of multi-dimensional poverty is generally higher in township administrative villages in the northwest than in southeastern townships.With administrative village.Fourth,different villages and townships in Jinzhai County have different location conditions.The poverty causes are caused by internal factors and external factors.The internal factors are mainly related to the age of the household,education level,and skill level.The external factors are mainly Village development conditions.
