The Influencing Factors Of Family Farm Entrepreneurial Performance

With the coming era of entrepreneurial economy and the background of "mass innovation and entrepreneurship",more and more farmers are doing their own business.Many of them choose to do entrepreneurship in agriculture industry.They set up new agricultural enterprises or family farms.At the same time,the peasant entrepreneurship has also set off an upsurge in the theoretical field.Faced with the new normal demand for agricultural modernization,the increasingly fierce competition in agriculture and the problem of "who will farm",the government and scholars have focused their attention on the industrialization of agriculture and the entrepreneurship of farmers.In China,family farms play an irreplaceable role in the development of modern agriculture and the development of rural economy.The establishment of family farms by professional farmers can not only promote the management of agricultural industrialization and information management,but also help solve the problem of the employment of rural surplus labor.Family farm entrepreneurial performance is the result of its entrepreneurship and a measure of the quality of the entrepreneurial process.The performance is also the foundation for its future development.Therefore,researching the factors affecting the entrepreneurial performance of family farms has very important practical significance for the cultivation of family farms.This article first defines the core concepts of entrepreneurship,farmer entrepreneurship,etc.,and reviews the related theories and research results of entrepreneurial performance.Second,this paper analyzes the factors affecting entrepreneurial performance from cognitive perspective,network perspective,environmental perspective and resource perspective,and finally constructs the influencing factors of entrepreneurial performance from the perspective of resources.According to the sources of entrepreneurial resources and entrepreneurs' ability,they are divided into internal sources and external sources.The internal sources include the entrepreneurs themselves and the entrepreneurs' families.The entrepreneurial ability mainly comes from the entrepreneurs themselves.The initial capital for the entrepreneurship and the family farm labor mainly come from the entrepreneur's family.External sources are divided into entrepreneurial social network sources and government sources.Social networks and governments can provide entrepreneurs with information,capital,and technology.Through analysis,the entrepreneur's previous experience,learning ability,resource integration ability,entrepreneur's access to resources through his social network relationships,entrepreneur's interpersonal skills,and entrepreneur's initial capital are the influencing factors of the entrepreneurial performance of family farms.Then,combined with the data on family farm venture research,using factor analysis and Logistic regression methods,it empirically tests that entrepreneurs' experience and ability related to entrepreneurial projects are important factors for entrepreneurial success;The initial funding status of entrepreneurs is entrepreneurial key influencing factors of performance;Entrepreneurs' access to entrepreneurial resources through social networks is a key influence on entrepreneurial performance.This paper also analysis some cases to do supplementary.The last part of this paper is the conclusion and policy suggestions.The policy suggestions are as follows:Help professional farmers improve their skills in technology and management;Establish a business exchange platform to enrich the social networks of professional farmers and entrepreneurs;Improve the financing environment.
