A Study On Delivery Period Of S Company

With the rapid development of the economy,the global economic integration has brought a more severe test to the manufacturing industry.In addition to the quality and price requirements of the product,the demand for response time has become increasingly demanding.It is a big challenge to the traditional production mode of electronic manufacturing industry with the life cycle of electronic products becoming shorter,customers' demands become diversified and the customization of small scale products gradually becomes the norm.In the past,the competition among enterprises was mainly the competition of cost,but with the fierce competition,more and more customers pay more attention to the delivery time of the products.Therefore,in today that the cost competition space among enterprises is decreasing day by day,who can deliver the goods earlier in the case of little difference in product quality gain the advantage of more market share.The core of the competition between enterprises has changed from the original cost and quality to the competition of time.In this paper,take S company of metal detector industry as the research object,aiming at the realistic delivery problems facing it,refer to domestic and international research on delivery period improvement theory of supply chain,based on the author's own work experience on the case of enterprises in this small order and small batch and analysis its production and non-production two aspects of delivery of the processes involved,take the three control stages of delivery time as the main line to find out the real effect of S company delivery time,combining relevant management theory and modern management theory,from the procurement(supply),inventory,production three links shortens the auxiliary time in the process,optimize the process to shorten the delivery time.At present,small batch and order of production has become a trend of manufacturing industry,delivery problems of S company for many small and medium manufacturing industry is also common,I hope that through this study,can be the reference for other similar enterprises.
