With the increasing fierce market competition, enterprises should supply individualized and high-quality products and services to promote their competitive ability. Enterprises must utilize advanced management techniques to enhance the management level for adapting competitive pressure. Production logistics management that has become more and more important for current enterprise is a powerful tool to promote enterprises management level and competitiveness in the world.Based on above issues, the paper studies and analyzes production and logistics in LH Institute by utilizing modern logistics management technique. The paper introduces significance, purpose, content and ideas of the program, describes modern production & logistics system. Production and logistics situation in machinery manufacture industry and LH Institute is also introduced in the paper. The paper introduces discrete event system modeling and simulation software. The paper models and simulates LH Institute production logistics system and proposes relative resolution according to existing problems in manufacture.Production logistics system is a very complex system. If enterprises production and logistics systems need to be studied, a model that can reflect the nature of external and internal behavior is needed. The aim of the model is needed to analyze and study problems. By combining Witness software applications, Production Logistics System Modeling and Simulation analyzes and simulates actual performance of production logistics system (for example, productivity, products, equipment and the operator's work load, etc.) to obtain the solution of difficult theoretical analysis.In the paper, relative study and ideas for solving problems and other research results are for reference for traditional manufacturing enterprises.
