The One Belt One Road Initiative launched by the Chinese government is the most significant project of the century.Since offered by President Xi Jinping in Indonesia and Kazakhstan in 2013,One Belt One Road Initiative has involved more than 60 countries in Asia,Africa and Europe and investment value of more than US $ 40 trillion.The project will link nations in Asia,Africa,and Europe with infrastructure development to support regional economic integration.Indonesia as one of the countries passed by One Belt-One Road route also has a vital role in the success of this project.With its strategic location right at the juncture of the continent of Asia and Australia,as well as the intersection of Pacific and Indian oceans,Indonesia became one of the priority countries of One Belt One Road Initiative,especially in Southeast Asia.There are many direct impacts of the implementation of One Belt-One Road Project in Indonesia,such as the construction of Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway train,as well as the creation of several national ports to support the acceleration of the national sea toll development.This is one of the most important development project to link more islands in Indonesia as the biggest archipelago country.For China,Indonesia can be an exciting country to be one of the priorities in this One Belt One Road Initiative.The strategic location and a large number of Indonesian population make the country a healthy economic market for investing stocks.Later,the writer will discuss how One Belt One Road Initiative can influence China and Indonesia relations in 3 levels of analysis: bilateral,regional and global with an approach of liberal institutionalism theory.This thesis consists of 3 main chapter + introduction and conclusion;the introduction part is the combination of background,research question,current research,research methodology,theoretical framework and expected conclusion.The first chapter will contain the background of One Belt One Road Initiative.Chapter two discusses about the impact of One Belt One Road Initiative for Indonesia-China relations as bilateral relations,regional(ASEAN),and global(G20).Chapter three will contain two study cases related to the rapid development of Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train as the first case,and the second case is about another highspeed project development in ASEAN.And then,the last part is about the conclusion of the thesis.
