A Study On The Development Strategy Of Space Tourism In Wenchang

During the 13th five-year plan period,China's tourism industry entered the golden stage of development.As an international tourism island,hainan province is familiar with more and more people.The tourism industry become one of the fastest growing industry in hainan economic development,and the vigorous development of tourism industry brought huge opportunities to wenchang city.September 2007,the construction project of wenchang space launch site was approved by our country officially,and became one of the few low-latitude and coastal space launch bases in the world.It is an open launch site,which is oriented to international commercial market.It has the function of tourism as well as the launching mission,which brings important opportunities to the development of wenchang tourism.From the perspective of the theory with practice,this article uses the method of consulting literature to look up three themes which are "event tourism","regional tourism development strategy","the influence of major events on the tourism development in local place",and summarizes that as a major event,wenchang space launch,under the correct tourism development planning,will certainly play a huge positive role in promoting wenchang tourism development.This article conducts a comprehensive analysis of wenchang tourism resources and compares wenchang with the surrounding cities and counties using comparison analysis and SWOT analysis tools,and then comes to the conclusion space launch bring wenchang huge opportunity for the development of tourism,however since there is no systematic space tourism development strategy planning,the long-term development of wenchang tourism did not achieve leaps.So wenchang tourism development must take advantage of the space launch,unique space development of tourism can expand the advantages,avoid shortage,and lead to further tourism economy in wenchang.Through the analysis of the case of Kennedy space center's huge impact on the tourism development in Florida,the writer thinks wenchang should draw lessons from the Kennedy space center using space program to drive economic development,strengthen regional cooperation,develop facilities and promote industrial convergence and conduct sustainable development to develop tourism.Based on the above research foundation,this article finally comes to the research conclusion:the tourism development of wenchang should choose space tourism brand strategy,regional tourism development strategy,industry integration strategy to complete the construction of new tourism value system with the characteristic of space,enhance the connotation of tourism space,create "one area,three districts" strategy layout,realize the spaceport tour,build intelligence propaganda platform,implement internationalization management comprehensively,format aerospace industry economy chain and strategic task,create unique wenchang space tourism brand and achieve the leap development of wenchang tourism.In the end,wenchang was built into a world-class tropical seaside resort with space elements,and formed an industrial system dominated by tourism industry and modern service industry.
