In the new era of inclusive financial development, people no longer discuss microfinance in isolation, but instead analyze it from the perspective of inclusive finance.Although slightly later engaged in microfinance than non-governmental organizations, the commercial banks whose influence on microfinance can be described as decisive have huge advantages in capitals and organizations. With the promotion of micro-credit companies and new rural financial institutions, the scale of microfinance business of commercial banks is gradually shrinking. The decline of the proportion of microfinance business and the upward movement of target customers reflect that there are some problerms in the microfinance model of commercial banks.Based on the illustration of microfinance related theories, this paper introduces the present development status and characteristics of microfinance in China and compares the constituent elements of microfinance models that are classified by institutions. The main features of the bank models are analyzed and then two supplemented bank cases are enumerated.Based on the data provided by China Association of Microfinance(CAM),the DEA model is used to analyze the financial performance and social performance of the four types of microfinance institutions in China. The author comes to the conclusion that commercial banks attach importance to financial goals, but social goals have been achieved to a lesser degree. Then the thesis chooses Y Bank of Changde City as the main body of the case analysis.First of all,it analyzes and explains the specific contents of the Y 'bank microfinance model, and demonstrated its uniqueness through comparison with other bank-type microfinance institutions. Then, the paper uses the World Bank Consultative Group to Assist the Poor(CGAP)index system and SDI index to evaluate the microfinance performance of bank Y from financial performance and social performance, and compares the results with the research achievements of Microfinance Information Exchange center(MIX)on the performance of microfinance institutions, pointing out the existing problems. And from the perspective of inclusive finance, improvement suggestions have been given from the three aspects of target targeting, inclusive financial product and service innovation, and supplementary mechanism to provide ideas for the adjustment of microfinance model and performance improvement of commercial banks.
