Research On The Relationship Between Resource Bricolage?Strategic Flexibility And Performance

In 2017,the State Council put forward the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy,stressing that innovation is the strategic support for improving the social productivity and the comprehensive national strength,and it must be placed at the core position of the overall development of the country.This is nation's major development strategy established by the government at the now stage of level,which is based on overall situation,facing to all world,focusing on the key and which is in order to drive the whole.In this context,China's enterprises will accelerate to development of innovative activities.In order to achieve innovation,this paper suggests that enterprises may achieve organizational ambidexterity under the function of resource bricolage and strategic flexibility.This paper focuses on the rapid development of resource bricolage theory,strategic flexibility theory and innovation exclusivity theory,and systematically reviews the theories' historical origin,connotation and dimensions,as well as the status quo of theoretical research.Basing on the resources bricolage theory and strategic flexibility,deconstructing the enterprise performance into exploratory innovation wish exploitative innovation from the dual view,and introducing the regulation factor:innovation exclusivity,so as to build the theory model between resource bricolage,strategic flexibility,organizational ambidexterity,innovation exclusivity and enterprise performance to explore the organizational ambidexterity's influence mechanism of resource bricolage,strategic flexibility and enterprise performance.This paper also explores the regulatory role of innovation exclusivity in the relationship between ambidexterity and enterprise performance.Firstly,though the literature collection and collation,combing the resource-base theory,resource dependence theory and innovation theory,reviewing and summarizing the literature about variables,on the base,this paper follows the research paradigm of resources-capacity-performance and constructs the conceptual model of resources bricolage,strategic flexibility,ambidexterity and enterprise performance,and then putforward the research hypothesis.Secondly,this paper uses questionnaire survey and interview methods,puts the enterprise founders and the senior leaders of the following provinces including Shanxi,Guangdong,Shanxi,Fujian,Sichuan as research object.In this survey,a total of 600 were issued,217 valid questionnaires were recovered,and this paper uses the Spss21.0 to do the statistical analysis,regression analysis,the mediating effect test and the regulating effect on the collected data.Finally,we get the results of this study,and ut forward some suggestions on the development path of enterprises.Through empirical analysis,this study draws the following conclusions.First,resource bricolage and strategic flexibility are all positively related to enterprise performance.Secondly,organizational ambidexterity(exploratory innovation and utilization innovation)is positively related to enterpriThirdly,in the relationship of resource bricolage,strategic flexibility and enterprise performance,the organizational ambidexterity is playing an intermediary role.Finally,innovation exclusivity is positively adjusting the relationship between ambidexterity and enterprise performance.Based on the above analysis,we believe that when enterprises need to innovate and face resource constraints,we should attach importance to implementing resource bricolage and strategic flexibility,so as to urge enterprises to carry out innovative activities to improve enterprise performance.
