This thesis studies the relationship between foreign direct investment(FDI)and income inequality in the major Asian countries.Using a panel data for 11 countries such as Bangladesh,China,India,Japan,South Korea,Mongolia,Pakistan,Philippines,Sri Lanka,Thailand,and Vietnam in the 1990-2015 periods,empirical evidence shows that FDI has a positive impact on income inequality.
