In 2012,China's garment industry is affected by the sluggish external demand,domestic demand slowed,and the price of raw materials is rising,so China's garment industry economic growth show the obvious trend of deceleration.The inventory statistics in 2012 of the apparel industry,we can find enough inventory on the market for two years,so the inventory pressure is greater,coupled with the problem of sales ability is low,and low efficiency of supply chain management,the garment industry manufacturers need to change the present situation.Therefore,how to break through the present situation have naturally become the key,while the HLA is in the opposite situation,and its application of light asset strategy has been everyone's attention.This paper aims to understand the implementation process of HLA light asset strategy,and then it makes a comprehensive evaluation of the effect of light asset strategy,providing a certain degree of improvement for the management of garment businesses with light asset strategy in China,and for our garment industry from the manufacturing economy to the service economy transformation of enterprises to provide some references value.Based on the theoretical analysis of competitive strategy theory,financial management target theory and smile curve,this paper introduces the light asset strategy of HLA.This paper is divided into five parts.First,it's to sum up the domestic and foreign research on the light asset strategy,mainly to understand the light asset strategy in the enterprise strategy effect is from which aspects to study and research results.Second,it expounds the related theories of light asset management.Grasp the light assets related concepts,theoretical basis and effect analysis of the basic methods for the case study to provide theoretical basis.Third,it's the analysis of the light asset strategy of HLA.Understand the background of the choice of light asset strategy and the specific process of light asset strategy.Fourth,it's the effective of light asset strategy and its cause analysis in HLA.From the financial aspects are from vertical and horizontal comparative analysis,and from non-financial aspects of light asset around the changes.Fifth,it draws the relevant conclusion and enlightenment from the case of light asset strategy of HLA.From the case analysis of this paper,the successful transformation and upgrading of HLA has made it a long-term competitive advantage in the industry.This shows that the garment industry enterprises want to get out of the woods aren't necessarily need to switch another industry,deep plowing in the original industry is one of the solutions for the company's long-term development.HLA holds the high added value of parts in the chain,focusing on product design and development,branding and supply chain management,outsourcing middle small profit margins of the production.Create a community of interests with suppliers and franchisees to reduce product costs as much as possible.In addition,the introduction of SAP information management system to enable enterprises to supply chain management capabilities have been further strengthened.Therefore,the most critical of light asset strategy is to seize the core business of enterprises,and ultimately the formation of the core-competitiveness of other enterprises are hard to imitate and replace.So enterprises can be more competitive in competition with other companies and obtain more profits.
