Research On Low Carbon Economy In Yanbian Region Based On Energy Consumption

Today,China is the world's largest developing country,how to solve the problem of energy and environment to achieve a low carbon economy is crucial for changing China's economic development situation,the problems of energy and environment are being paid more and more attention by the Chinese government,in the Chinese goverments' 13th Five-Year Plan,one of the most important task is to achieve the green,low carbon and the ecological development objectives,which will develop China into a modern country,which not only has good economic and production and living environment,but also has conservation of energy resources.19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has made important strategic plans for the new era of climate change and the promotion of green low carbon development and put forward higher target requirements.General secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed that dealing with climate change is not what others want us to do,but that we should do it ourselves,which is the inherent requirement of our country's sustainable development.As the less-developed border regions and autonomous regions of ethnic minority,The average speed of development of Yanbian' s economy has for several years lower than the provincial average level,but the unit GDP energy consumption has been higher than the provincial average level,so the current Yanbian should always put the economic development as the first one,but at the same time economic development should conform to the trend of the low carbon transformation to build a low-carbon environment sustainable development.The energy consumption structure of Yanbian is relatively single,coal is main,and the use of clean energy is less.This paper from the sustainable development theory,externality theory,Kuznets curve theory and others theories analyzes the factors which restrict Yanbian region energy consumption intensity and low carbon economy development,to verify the relationship between energy consumption,carbon emissions and economic growth.Try to explore a way for the development of low carbon economy in Yanbian region in order to provide the basis for the sustainable development of the Yanbian region in the future competition.In general,the main contents are the following three aspects:First:through the analysis of the current situation of energy consumption and low carbon economy development in Yanbian region.First of all,analyze the status of energy consumption in Yanbian region;secondly,from the two aspects of change from the actual growth rate of GDP and industrial structure to analyze the current situation of Yanbian's economic growth;finally,analyze some of the pressure facing the development of low-carbon economy,on the basis of the necessity of developing low-carbon economy in Yanbian.Second,through the analysis of the relationship between energy-consumption,carbon emissions and economic growth in Yanbian region during 1996--2016,verify the hypothesis of Kuznets curve based on the empirical analysis of energy consumption,carbon emission and economic growth.Based on the relevant assumptions of Kuznets curve,calculate the time of carbon energy consumption and carbon emission to the turning point of inverted U curve in Yanbian region to get the influential factors between the three,so as to provide strong basis for Yanbian to formulate policies for energy conservation and carbon emission reduction.Third:Put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of low carbon economy in Yanbian.Based on the analysis of the status quo and the results of empirical analysis,propose that the development of low carbon economy in Yanbian need to optimize the energy consumption structure and industrial structure,improve energy efficiency,and advocate low-carbon life and develop carbon sequestration forestry.
