Study On Sustainable Livelihood Of Tourism Destination Residents In The Context Of Climate Change

With global warming,extreme climatic events also have increased,all areas of human life are affected by climate change.Climate change has become a hot topic in today's world.At the same time,the impact of climate change on sustainable livelihoods is also on the agenda.The system of sustainable livelihood framework has become matured,the use of sustainable livelihoods also has become more widespread.However,studies on sustainable livelihood is mainly for the poor residents of the primary industry,such as farmers,forest farm workers,herdsman and fisherman.The livelihood of the third industry has not attracted enough attention.Therefore,the sustainable livelihood of residents in tourism destination has enough space to explore,it needs to be digging and exploitation at depth.Through a detailed review of domestic and international literature.Based on the context of climate change-livelihood capital-livelihood strategy-livelihood results of sustainable livelihood theory framework,the sustainable livelihood index system of residents in tourism destinations has constructed,under the context of vulnerability.By analyzing previous studies on climate change and sustainable livelihoods,building the conceptual model,choosing Nanyue tourist area as case study,where is located in Hengyang,Hunan province.Collecting the data,using structural equation model technology to validated theoretical model.The result shows:(1)The positive impact of climate change on livelihood strategy has not been supported.The climate change has no significant impact on livelihood strategy;(2)Climate change has a significant positive effect on the environment,and the assumption that climate change has a positive impact on the economy is not established.The climate change has an impact on part of livelihood results.(3)Part of the livelihood capital has an impact on livelihood strategies and livelihood results.(4)The livelihood strategy has a significant impact on part of livelihood results.Finally,based on the research conclusion,suggestions are discussed for the existing problems,the shortcomings of this study are described,the future research direction is also explained.
