| Under the background of the new economic norm,China has focused on the construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative,"and has thoroughly promoted the decentralization of power,integration and optimization of service reforms in the area of overseas investment,which has also enabled the rapid development of the internationalization of Chinese enterprises.The research will not only help companies cultivate new competitive advantages and scale,but also help companies formulate effective international strategies.As an important part of the internationalization process of an enterprise,internationalization performance not only helps companies cultivate new competitive advantages and expand their scale,but also helps companies formulate effective international strategies.In the process of corporate internationalization,executives as the company's most important human capital is the company's core competitive resources and key advantages.Its team characteristics reflect the overall corporate personality and decision-making preferences,while the top management team characteristics are both international the important source and guarantee of performance is also an irreplaceable resource advantage in the operation of the company.With the continuous expansion of the "going out" scale of Chinese enterprises,the differences in the economic growth rates between the eastern,central and western regions have become increasingly prominent.In this context,it is particularly important to develop appropriate strategies to promote the international development of enterprises in light of the differences in regional development and the characteristics of senior management teams.Therefore,based on the theory of high-rise echelon,this dissertation selects the unbalanced panel data of 1345 listed companies in Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange from 2005 to 2015,adopts fixed effect measurement model and selects the average of senior management team Age,tenure,academic qualifications,the proportion of female executives,the background of overseas background and the occupational backgrounds.This study comprehensively analyzed the demographic characteristics of the top management team in different regions of the international performance of enterprise,and discussing the importance of executive features in the business process.The results show that:(1)The higher the average age of the senior management team in the eastern region,the higher the internationalization performance of the enterprise.In addition,the higher the ratio of female managers and members'Which has a positive impact on the international performance of the enterprise;while the average team's average term will have a negative impact on the international performance of the enterprise;In addition,there is a significant positive correlation between age heterogeneity and international performance in the eastern region,while heterogeneity in career background is the opposite;(2)For the central region,the same emphasis on the overseas background and average career background of the business executives team members on the international performance of the enterprise While the average team age and average academic qualifications will have a negative effect on the international performance of the enterprise;in terms of its heterogeneous characteristics,the higher the tenure of senior management team members will hinder the international performance of the enterprise,while the different age The higher the quality will effectively enhance the international performance of enterprises;(3)There is a significant positive correlation between the overseas background of the executive team in the western region and the international performance of the enterprise.This result is in line with the eastern and central regions.However,.the proportion of female executives and age heterogeneity are not conducive to the international performance of the enterprise Improvement;(4)From a national perspective,the higher the average age,the average occupation background and the overseas background of the senior management team are,the more it can contribute to the internationalization of the enterprise.The higher the average tenure and academic heterogeneity are Inhibit the improvement of international performance.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward scientific and feasible suggestions on the improvement of the internationalization performance of the enterprise from the five aspects of senior management team's age,tenure,professional background,female executives and overseas background members.Explain the description and research prospects. |
