China's tourism industry and insurance industry are both in a rapidly developing service industry,and outbound tourism is becoming more and more popular.The outbound tourism risks such as traffic trip risks,food safety risks,sightseeing risks,and property loss risks are staggered and complex,and the serious outbound security situation in recent years poses a major threat to the vigorous development of outbound tourism.At the same time,comparing the travel insurance cooperation opinions issued by the National Tourism Administration and China Insurance Regulatory Commission in 2006 and the objective gap with the development reality of China's outbound travel insurance market in recent years,faced with new forms of outbound tourism,adequate market segmentation,and customization using big data.Outbound travel insurance services are the direction of market development.It is imperative to accelerate the development of outbound travel insurance.Promoting the development of China's outbound travel insurance market From a microscopic point of view,it can protect the safety of life and property of outbound passengers,mitigate the harm caused by various accidental risks,and provide tourists with more peace of mind.From a macroscopic point of view,outbound travel insurance can guarantee the exchange of tourism culture between China and other countries,thereby promoting cultural communication and enhancing understanding of mutual trust and personnel exchanges.The first part of this article summarizes and analyzes domestic and international studies on outbound tourism and related literature on tourism insurance.The second part analyzes the relevant theories of outbound tourism and outbound travel insurance,and supplements the basic theory of the market used in this study.The third part introduces the development of outbound travel and travel insurance in China.It focuses on the analysis of the current problems in China's outbound travel insurance market,including the lack of supply-side development momentum and the lack of awareness of demand side insurance.There are regulatory loopholes,outbound tourism insurance product development and design is not scientific,marketing and follow-up services are not perfect and other issues.On this basis,the author draws lessons from the experience of international outbound travel insurance,and proposes to carry out compulsory exit travel accident insurance pilots,establish multiple outbound travel insurance,and set up an emergency travel accident relief fund.Finally,combining with the actual development of the outbound tourism insurance market in China,we use market theory to propose specific countermeasures and suggestions,including eliminating suppliers' supply barriers,conducting ideological education to consumers in all directions,and promoting the legal and regulatory recommendations for the development of the outbound tourism insurance market in China.The 4P marketing perspective provides recommendations for perfect outbound travel insurance products and services.After combing and analyzing this article,we found that despite the diversity of products in China's outbound travel insurance market,the market segmentation is not sufficient.Under the new form,in order to enhance the consumer experience of outbound tourists,both insurance companies and online outbound tourism service providers need to strengthen data matching.To jointly develop and improve outbound travel insurance products,customization will be an important direction for future industry development.
