Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Agricultural Listed Companies In China Based On DEA Method

As an important basic industry,agriculture's level of development directly affects the development of the national economy.China is a big agricultural country but not a strong agricultural country.It has developed rapidly in recent years.Our country has made many policies to support its' development,at the same time,it is very hot in the capital market.This paper carries out evaluation and analysis of the performance of 30 agricultural listed companies,and provides effective guidance and assistance for the company's management and investment options.DEA method is used as the research method of this paper.According to the industry classification guidelines of listed companies,this paper divides the agriculture industry into four categories: agricultural production,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery.The writer selects the annual report data of 30 listed companies in four industries from 2012 to 2016 and Uses DEAP 2.1 software to run the model.Finally,the relevant performance data of the company is obtained by analyzing the development trend of the agricultural industry and the specific operating efficiency of 30 companies.The article formulates the models and then runs the software.The results show that the mean of the overall performance of agricultural industry is moderate,but the two levels are very different,and many enterprises are in a downward trend.The comprehensive efficiency of animal husbandry is the highest in all four industries.The comprehensive efficiency of forestry and fishery are relatively low,but the development and decline of agricultural production are most obvious.Only 40 percent of the 30 companies have remained stable,while the remaining 60 percent are in a downward trend.It can be seen that the development trend of the whole agricultural industry is not optimistic.Finally,the article puts forward improvement Suggestions for non DEA effective company and gives managers and investors some advice,for example: We should be aware of the risks in the industry,rationally facing the investment boom,improving the scale efficiency,attaching importance to the improvement of technology,and improving the work efficiency of the staff,expanding the industrial value chain and strengthening the construction of agricultural financial services.
