| In recent years,with the increasingly developed Internet technology and as people gradually know the concept of inclusive finance,peer-to-peer(P2P)lending platforms emerge at the right moment under such background and are still making progress.P2P lending refers to the financial business type in which lenders provide individuals in need of funds with small loans so as to gain certain interests through online Internet platforms.The first P2P lending platform was established in Britain in 2005 and China's first P2P lending platform was founded in 2007 and has grown rapidly.At present,China has over 2,300 P2P lending platforms in operation.However,on the one hand,emerging platforms keep springing up and the business volume is boosting in China's P2P lending industry;on the other hand,there are constant phenomena of platform closing-down and running-away.The risk problem is especially prominent in the P2P lending industry.Whether it can develop healthily and how it will develop has become an issue of great concern for various participants groups including investors,financers,and regulatory bodies.This article firstly summarizes the research background and research significance of P2P lending,as well as national and international research dynamics on P2P lending platform,secondly introduces China's P2P lending platforms' development situation and characteristics such as business scale and geographical distribution,and summarizes reasons for their rapid development in China.Besides,it introduces three P2P lending platform modes:information intermediary mode,small-loan company mode,and debt assignment mode.Then,it concentrates on the comprehensive analysis of the risk management by Shanghai Lujiazui International Financial Asset Exchange Co.,Ltd.,proposes risk management problems that this company faces,and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions targeting at those problems. |
